Hey guys,

I'm just posting to let everyone know I'm still around. I try and check the board every day or so to keep up and mod stuff. I've been real busy doing college applications/visits/scholarships so that's why I'm not posting as much nowadays. I got accepted to UNL last Thursday and took a visit last Friday and I'm pretty sure that's where I'm headed next fall so maybe I'll find some free time to get on more often. ;)

congrats

be sure to send the coed pix to the mod forum only :) hehehehehe

Best of luck on your scholastic endeavors

GBR

Hey, nice job...my wife and I both graduated from UNL. I currently work for the University of Phoenix in Omaha - if you need any assistance with your fafsa or other financial aid stuff don't hesistate to ask. Are you looking at any other colleges?

I was looking at UNL, UNK, and a few area CCs.

Thats cool... I would suggest you seriously consider looking at different CC's or the closest one to you. They certainly won't be as much fun as UNL, but can honesly save you like 20 grands in loans. Depending what your major is and what you need to take right away CC's can be a huge help financially.

Yup

my wife spent about 22K for her biz degree/CPA license but she loves it(job).

While I spent about 2k for my RN license :dunno but I love staring at butts all day. :)

Ya gotta do what you think is best.
