Chicagoans for Nebraska present an evening with Coach Charlie McBride and Jared Tomich!
When: Friday May 23rd,2008
Where: Kirkwood's
2934 N. Sheffield Ave, Chicago, IL
Time: 7 - 11:00 p.m.
Cost: $35 per person members and guests, limited door availability so register now!
Menu: Food (mini-hamburgers, bratwurst and other heavy appetizers served buffet-style), Red Beer and Elk Creeks will be included
Reservation Deadline: May 16th, 2008
Come as you are - Charlie McBride and Jared Tomich are the special guest speakers. Charlie McBride served as an assistant coach at Nebraska for 23 seasons from 1977 to 1999, including the final 18 seasons as the Huskers' defensive coordinator. McBride's Blackshirt defenses ranked in the top 10 nationally in total defense 11 times.
Jared Tomich, the St. John, Ind., native closed his NU career with 91 total tackles, including 26 tackles for loss and 16 sackes. A second-round NFL Draft pick of New Orleans in 1997, Tomich spent four seasons with the Saints from 1997 through 2000, before closing his career with the Green Bay Packers in 2002.
