Chris Brooks?

I caught the tail-end of Sean Callahan on 1620 this afternoon, and thought he said that Brooks will be in regular WR rotation vs. ISU?? I know this matches the timetable that was set for his injury, but would he get in right away?

Can anyone confirm this, or that he is currently back in practice?

It wouldnt surprise me. Brooks is the big body kind of receiver that we lost when we lost Pilk, and Callahan loves those kind of guys, just look at his current recruitiing targets. All six two and about 210.

Well, since our WRs seem to have a liitle trouble catching the ball right now, i'd say if Brooks can actually catch the damn thing- get him in there!

Indeed! Anyone with soft hands is more than welcome as far as I'm concerned.

Just a question:

Do we have a good chance of the offense getting 'on track' if Brooks and Herian return vs. ISU? I realize there is still the chance of line issues...but the bright side is there will be 1 proven, and 1 thought to be, great threat of CATCHING THE BALL. :clap

slightly OT, but per a family connection-- Herian is leaning towards red-shirting. which means the more the merrier for '06.

Gilmore said Brooks is back to 100%, but he simply doesn't trust him out there yet.
Word is this guy is plain freakin lazy, I'm glad Gilmore is laying down the law. This kid never lifted any damn weights either. <_< :wtf

He practiced less then a week before his injury in fall camp, so to label him lazy is truely uncalled for. The reference to not trusting him means he doesn't know his routes yet well enough, and has nothing to do with his work ethic. I can tell you that from a reliable source of information. This is why i don't like the Media. They take things and twist them around
