Comcast In Denver

Ok, this is the second game that is on FSN pay-per-view that I cannot order on comcast in Denver; however:

1 - I know that Comcast realizes there are a lot of Husker fans in Denver as we get the Coach Callahan show on Comcast's channel.

2 - I know they have the ability to offer the games as they are offering them in other states.

Does anyone know if I can call/write anybody to try to get the ppv games on Comcast in Denver?

Does this help at all?!???

Brandon Jackson and the Huskers will try to improve to 3-0 in the Big 12 this weekend.

Lincoln - The Nebraska-Kansas State college football game on Saturday, Oct. 14 will be telecast via pay-per-view on participating cable systems and nationwide to satellite dish customers. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 PM CT from Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan.

Suggested retail price for residential purchase is $29.95. Big 12 Special Order Sports, Fox Sports Net’s pay-per-view division, will produce and distribute the telecast. Additional information about how to purchase the telecast is listed below. Updates will be posted on K-Statesports.com, Huskers.com and FOXSports.com (search: Midwest) as they become available.

The game is being televised on pay-per-view because it was not selected for over-the-air broadcast or cable television coverage. Under Conference TV rules, games not picked up for regular television distribution can only be televised live on pay-per-view if during a Conference TV window. Big 12 games scheduled for television on Oct. 14 are: Iowa State at Oklahoma (11:30 AM on FSN), Missouri at Texas A&M (2:30 PM on ABC) and Baylor at Texas (6:00 PM on TBS).

Participating cable and satellite providers will offer the telecast to their customers on a specially designated pay-per-view channel. The telecast will not pre-empt FSN’s regularly scheduled programming.

The Nebraska-Kansas State game will be the eighth Nebraska football game distributed on pay-per-view, following: Oct. 12, 2002 vs. Missouri; Oct. 25, 2003 vs. Iowa State; Sept. 4, 2004 vs. Western Illinois; Oct. 2, 2004 vs. Kansas; Sept. 3, 2005 vs. Maine; Oct. 15, 2005 at Baylor; and Sept. 23, 2006 vs. Troy. Nebraska won all seven of those games.

This is the first K-State football game distributed via pay-per-view since the Wildcats 40-6 win over Kansas on Oct. 27, 2001.

Dan McLaughlin (play-by-play) call the action with Richard Baldinger (analyst) and Brent Stover (reporter).

To date, the following programming providers have agreed to offer the Nebraska-Kansas State pay-per-view telecast. For availability in their specific areas, customers should contact their cable or satellite provider. Additional providers and ordering information may be announced later this week. Check K-Statesports.com, Huskers.com or FoxSports.com (search: Midwest) for updates.

Thanks Eric, but it doesn't help. They aren't broadcasting it here. The problem is I tend to get a little drunk and obnoxious (yelling at the screen, etc) during the games. So, I have found it best to watch them at home.

Do they have a Nebraska Football Anonymous club to help?
