Kind of an odd/interesting one.  Need to investigate more.  Visited Alabama and Ohio State in December but doesn't have an offer to either.  Also hearing from Wisconsin.  Was once a commit to Syracuse ... for lacrosse.  A couple references to being in the post-grad program so I'm not sure if he was originally Class of 2017 or what the deal is.

He originally was going to Syracuse to play lacrosse (his dad is an assistant coach there), but after taking a few late football visits he decided he wanted to get into football instead. Western Michigan and West Virginia offered him when he was a SR in high school. He is now at a post grad school to strictly work on football. Projects as a DE, but can also play 3-4 OLB and TE.

I don't think I have ever heard a unique situation like this before. This is definitely weird.

I'ld take him.  The only two people I know that played lacrosse and football turned out to be pretty good football players.  Jim Brown and JD Speileman (still working on it).

Kind of reminds me of a bigger Jurgens with how they use him in his film. Looks very athletic for his size. Bulldozes a lot of people when out on routes but still has the ability to out run defenders. Looks like even though he can go catch a pass and make something happen after translates much better as a defender.

Plays with a pretty high pad level but that's correctable.

So basically what previous staffs have done. Still doesnt hurt to have connections elewhere though.
Not just previous staffs, but every staff in the country.

If Connecticut has a guy then go after him, but I wouldn't go looking for things that might not be there.
