With Maxpreps track record, I like our chances.
I can honestly say that I know nothing about MaxPreps, but did think they must have some credibility. :lol:With Maxpreps track record, I like our chances.
Oh well, life goes on. Its just a matter of time before we start landing some of these big names on NSD.FYI, tons of chatter that he's going to pick UCLA. Can't reveal where I'm hearing this since it's a subscription service, but it sounds like it'll be the Bruins. Never a sure thing, but consider NU a very long shot here.
Honestly, unless he's just interested in the academics or location, I would be baffled with this choice. Get trained up under the Pelinis versus working under a staff that probably won't be there in two years and that doesn't even have a DC right now (and the rumored new DC, Rocky Seto, is very much unproven)? How could a DL not pick NU? I was equally baffled with Owa. And this coming from a UCLA alum.Oh well, life goes on. This Grimble situation makes you scratch your head doesn't it? What makes me wonder about UCLA is that he not only didn't visit them, he in fact cancelled his visit. Surely, even if you have your mind made up you would visit the school even if you plan to commit to them wouldn't you? JP in home visit out of nowhere? Hm....Honestly, unless he's just interested in the academics or location, I would be baffled with this choice. Again, this is just what the latest chatter is, not saying this is a done deal.

The Miami announcement does surprise me, but you're right about it being really surprising that he told Rivals early. I guess he's not all about the drama, which is refreshing. Not suprise. Figured this is where he would end up. The bigger shock is that he let the cat out of the bag to Rivals, talk about taking the air out of your announcement.
Ehh...they still got Owa a recruiting coup 25x bigger than Grimble. Skippy will get another whipping boy for Owa todayThe Miami announcement does surprise me, but you're right about it being really surprising that he told Rivals early. Time to put the folks on the UCLA boards on suicide watch!
