Any word on our plans with Wills or McClain position wise if we take Williams? He would make the 5th DE (but Keels is a JR.).

Thinking this guy was a back up if something happened to McClain. And im hearing hes N so guessing McClain wussed out and took the "safer", albeit worse for his career, choice to stay close to mommy and daddy.
Fact is, i would rather take a man who wants to go somewhere where he can get the best coaching to become the best he can instead of knowing he can always fall back on mom and dad when things go awry b/c he did what they wanted.

I get it sucks to lose Mcclain but i dont think SC is the safer bet. He is a 18 year old kid and staying near family isnt worse for his career. Dont knock the kid for that. We came in late, and tried our best, but think he didnt truly have the time to understand the distance. It is a bummer, but SC is a great school and he isnt making a bad choice going there.
As a husker fan, i am bummed we are losing him, but I dont blame him.
