Also has offers from several smaller D-1 schools for basketball (UAB, St. Louis, etc.).  

Has visited Auburn and Tennessee.  He says no real order to his Top 8 but those two have advantages (location for Auburn, Tennessee was first to offer).  

Nebraska, Indiana and Kentucky recruiting him as a DE.  The rest of the eight are recruiting him as a TE.  He said he doesn't have a preference.

 
Selling program trajectory and Pruitt is a very good recruiter. Him being from Alabama made this easy imo. They are at 24 but won't sign everyone committed. Good news is they can only take so many commitments now.
