Greg Smith said 9am tomorrow. Sounds like an announcement is planned. The staff is working to change Grim's mind tonight, but I'm (Smith) told he notified the team yesterday morning.

The earlier the better (for both sides), if that is what's going to happen. Sort of why you have to keep aggressive at recruiting, and with the numbers. There's always some that don't pan out -- whether it's transferring, injuries, so on. No school is the right place for everybody, and the transition isn't always a good one.

And we were worried about having too many receivers!

 
Can't be football related. He had legit shot to start next year. If he is mad he's not going to get a ton of time right away then he is a moron and good riddance. Home sickness seems more likely and is understandable.

 
IF he's gone, it's not a big hurt for this year. He, at very best, would have been 5th on the depth chart; more than likely 6th. It does hurt the future a little bit, particularly since we're losing 3 key seniors. Luckily, we've been killing it in WR recruiting.
