Disappearing thread

I noticed some thread about today's games...just a general topic about peoples' thoughts on the slate of games...and I was typing a response, submitted it and I got an error saying I didn't have permission. What's up with that? Was I seeing things or did the thread get lost or something? Kind of confused....
