Interesting offer. Wasn’t a starter. Rotation guy. Visiting. Very meh on this one. Committed to Washington at one point. Sounds like he got dropped.  Sounds like UT recently offered.

Set to visit Tennessee next weekend.

As late offers to moderately-rated prospects go, a guy who went to Bosco and has SEC interest isn't a bad way to go.

Missed his sophomore year with a torn ACL.  Supposedly was still slowed by it his junior year.

Hit the camp circuit hard before his junior year and stood out enough to get a bunch of offers.  Word is he has recovered his speed and quickness from before the injury.

Bosco rotated 7-8 guys on the DL.  They were #1 in the nation this year according to MaxPreps.

Will be visiting here this weekend.

247 showed him visiting Tennessee this weekend.  Not sure if he's going to do both or what.

If he is 6’5 300 like his profile says, this kid might be a player. On his film he moves well for a big guy. Makes plays outside the numbers and he can re establish the line of scrimmage. Competition must be legit bc he plays for the top team in the country.

Lefotu's film doesn't show a lot to work with. He's listed at 6'5" 300 lbs but doesn't play like that. There isn't one play on his highlights where he just physically dominates his opponent. All he shows is finesse and he isn't close to athletic enough to pull that off at the next level. He's a high cut guy with average playing strength. His playing style fits best in a one-gap, upfield defense where he can be rotated out regularly. He needs to be an unmovable anchor on the line but developed bad playing habits because he's surrounded by D1 talent.

The skills he has that could translate are his lateral agility, active hands, and an ability to keep his hips square to the line. But he needs a ton of coaching and discipline if he's going to contribute at the P5 level. Additionally, he has a bad injury history.

I really don't know about this offer. Which according to my track record of looking at prospects means that Lefotu will be all-conference.
