What do we do when new members join only to promote their own websites? This dude Drake has 100% of his posts in the Skin forum and in his signature he has a link to his own board. Thing is, his board has all of three posts <- total... Not like it's any sort of competition in the slightest little bit. Should I ban him or remove the links and email him or what. It's almost not even worth discussing other then the fact that we should stick to precedence.

What exactly is the site. I went to it and it says under construction.

It has nothing to do with football, I'm not worried.

The forum, as nearly as I can tell, is nothing that impacts us, as Joe noted. Pretty diverse categories, and the only posts are his own.

I think we can let him be - my guess is he'll be lucky to get even a single sign-up from Huskerboard.

I think we should probably judge it on content - does it pose a "threat" to the board? If so, then we need to temporarily ban them with an email explaining that we don't allow members to promote competing boards or sites. If the person is willing to remove the links, then we let him or her back in.
