I made some more pie crust treats, but, this time after I had combined everything, I made it into a ball and put it in a food storage bag and refrigerated it for a few hours. It sure was a lot easier to roll out!
This time I remembered to take a picture of the dough when I rolled it out,
This recipe came from a very good friend of my family:
Pastry:
2 Cups Flour
2 Tablespoons Sugar
1-1/4 Teaspoon Salt
2/3 Cup Cooking Oil
3 Tablespoons Milk
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar and salt; stir using a fork or pastry blender.
In another bowl, whip oil and milk with a whisk.
Pour oil/milk mixture over flour mixture and stir using a pastry blender, until all flour is moistened.
If you are making pie, press dough evenly in pie pan, covering sides and bottom.
Yields: 2 Pie Crusts
Here is a pic of the dough when I rolled it out.
