With all of the perpetual hate that ESPN attracts, I was thinking about setting up a basic site where ppl could voice their opinions. maybe just a blog, or even a basic board. it would be a pretty simple way to sell apparel & tickets, as all of the visitors would obviously be sports fans.

Frank or others, isnt it true that ESPN should not be able to pinch a site that is essentially for the purpose of "parody", even if it uses their trademarked name? i.e. http://www.whystarbuckssucks.com/

http://www.walmart-blows.com/

so here are my ideas for the name:

ESPNFU.com

ESPNReview.com

ESPNScrewU.com

thoughts?

Correct. Even thought the name may be subject to trademark, if the use is for something that very obviously is not associated with the trademark, or attempts to decive others into thinking it is ESPN, then it should be okay.

Seems like a great idea - actually, just about every school's fans feels that ESPN doesn't give their team enough love, so you could market it nationwide.
