Milt Tenopir guided powerful Nebraska offensive lines that were known for toughness, among other qualities.

The 74-year-old retired assistant coach has been showing some toughness of his own.

Tenopir was diagnosed with leukemia May 21 and has completed his first round of chemotherapy, he said Thursday from his home.

Me too, but at his age, the odds definitely aren't in his favor. The guy is a fighter though, and wouldn't surprise me at all if he does defeat it!
