Expectations for new mods

Blackshirt

Team HuskerBoard
Just wanted to let you new guys know that I dont expect you to jump right in with both feet. I know we've all spent a LOT of time on this board lately, and I respect everyones time and realize you need a friggin break and have many other more important things going on, so pls dont hesitate to take whatever time you need, and dont feel obligated to be online anymore than you wouldve had you not have been jedi-mind-tricked into this.

The whole point of having more mods is to spread things out, and increase the likelihood that there willl always be a watchful eye online, so dont feel like you have to do more than youre capable of. And if youre going to be out of town or just busy with other stuff for an exteneded period of time, no problem, just please drop a note in this forum letting us know of your plans, and we'll make the necessary adjustments.

As far as tomorrow goes, the most importnat thing you new guys can do is to sipmly 'move' bogus threads to the 'junkyard' in this mod fourm. If you dont know how to do this yet, Frank created some great tutorials for all the main mod fucntioncs, so check them out, or just post a question for one of us. Also remember you can practice these techniques in the 2 test forums.

Again, just please always doublehcheck that you are in the "Mod" forum/category before you make a post, and noone else will be able to see it.

Im going to add all of you new guys as mods for EVERY forum, just like the others, but that doestn mean i xpect you to read every post in every forum. I just do that so in case you hapen to be the only one online you have the authority to edit any post in any forum.

Thanks again guys, and dont hesitate to ask if you have a question.

Chad
