I see some comments in some of the threads/statuses about Nebraska going to get smoked by Georgia this year! You have to be kidding me right? I think Georgia fans would even laugh at this.

This Georgia team is more injured than we are. The biggest part, Murray is out and won't be playing. Murray was the BIGGEST reason we lost last year. Without him in, the Huskers, with a much more improved defense, has a HUGE shot in winning this game. I just can't see how we will get "destroyed".

Taylor is also expected to be back for this game, if not, at least Armstrong will be healthy.

Anyway, this may not be an "exciting" matchup, but this game is winnable for this Huskers.

I love it. SEC team, they're down a QB, but so are we. An offense that doesn't have the athlete at the helm that would give our much improved defense fits. I think we match up well, and we can come out of this with a very quality win over a solid and well-coached team.

Kinda weird, we just played them last year in the same bowl. It will not be good if we lose this game.

Rivalry games are good, if there's an good amount of bad blood and ill will, they are great.

This is just another game against a team we played last year. There's no bad blood, it's just ho hum...

I'll be glad to watch one more game, but the level of excitement that should be there just isn't...

Correct me if I am wrong (never an issue on this board..lol), but shouldn't all of the o-line be healthy with a month to heal....except of course Long... Jamal Turner should be 100% and have enough time to earn more playing time...

I am still not counting out T-mart and of course TA will be 100%....

Stopping Gurly will be a problem, but if we can somehow manage that, we match up pretty well in the passing game. Gregory and company could cause problems.

They have a great running back, but I will take Ameer any day..... He is a warrior and I think that he will rival most rbs that Georgia has seen.

We have a decent chance in this one.
