Hey AgMarauder04 - seen you on here a few times lately. Hoping you can answer some questions. A group of us is headed down from Kansas City for the game. We will be arriving in College Station on Friday about lunchtime. We have never been down there, and want to make sure we get the "whole experience".
We are planning on checking out the Bush Presidential Library, the Bonfire Memorial, and of course attend the midnight Yell Practice. Anything else we should check out on Friday?
For Saturday, we are wondering if there is a recommended spot to park early and tailgate from like 9AM to gametime? Or is the area around the stadium not good for something like that? And is it worth touring the "Zone" and/or the mascot memorial? Or can we catch that stuff walking into the game?
Any and all advice is greatly appreciated! We are really looking forward to the trip down there. Thanks!
PS. I know this looks like it should be a PM, but if anyone else reading this has suggestions and/or is also going down and would like to meet up for a beer or something, let me know.
