Honey Fried Walleye & Tartar Sauce

Honey Fried Walleye & Tartar Sauce:

2 Eggs

1/2 Cup Honey

1 Cup Crushed Saltines

1/3 Cup Flour

1 Tsp. Seasoning Salt

1/4 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

1 Tsp. Lemon Pepper

1/2 Tsp. Granulated Garlic

1 Tsp. Dried Parsley

4-6 Walleye Filets-Skin Removed

***Or Use Any Fish

Combine saltines, flour, seasoning salt, garlic, lemon pepper, parsley and cheese in a shallow bowl.

Place honey in another bowl and beaten eggs in yet another bowl.

Dip filets in honey, then egg, then in cracker mixture.

Heat 1/2 cup of veggie oil in large skillet and fry fish over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until it flakes with a fork.

Garnish with lemon.

Tartar Sauce:

Real Mayonnaise

***NOT MIRACLE WHIP!

Sweet Pickle Relish

Couple Drops Lemon Juice

Few Dashes Emeril’s Original Essence

***Eyeball amount of ingredients to your preference.

Mix all ingredients in a bowl; cover and refrigerate.

but I luv miracle whip and hate moose snot(mayo). :D

now if someone will send me about eleventy hundred pounds of walleyes I'd be cookin' me some fish.

Roxy, if you live in Omaha.. and want someone to come over and taste-test all your food.. I guess i can do it.. you know, to umm help you out!

 
I used to live in Omaha; didn't know you when I lived there or would of had you over to watch Nebraska play on television and you can bet I would make something..can't go without munchies while watching Nebraska play and beer of course:)

Rawhide..I have a friend in Lincoln Nebraska..he loves to fish:) I will see what I can do to get you some fish:)

I have friends there too but they are stingy with their fish :D

heck I'd pay the shipping. Every time I go back to Lincoln I stop at the Tam O Shanter on O street. They always have walleye on their menu.
