Watching the game I was quite unpleased with the offensive play. One thing or person tells me it’s Lord who sucks that causes the plays to be called as they are. Conservative, vanilla and on the ground. But the other part says it’s purely the play calling. Especially inside the 20. My theory is allow Lord to at least make a play. At least let him screw up. Odds are if you keep the play calling fresh and open he won’t make the mistakes, etc. I called for Lord’s departure after his fumble in the third. The next series he throws a 76 yard pass to Herian. Go figure. Lord is definitely making better decisions on audibles, very much improved. Im getting sick of mentioning the passing, but it seems every play there are one or two guys wide open (Which is a very good thing by the way). After I watched the Solich show Sunday night, I decided to hold my negative comments about his decision making. He appeared, while I was at the game, to be throwing very late, but after the film he is throwing just a hair late.

Dailey looked decent. Nice first touchdown. Looked a lot more comfortable at home. Look for him to get some work this week.

I was feeling a bit glum after the game due to the offense again, but low and behold pig sh#t and the rest of those purple f'ing homos, f'd things up again this week. They had the lead and f'd it up. Those f'ers suck d!(k. In fact they sucked the big one this time. I’m talking John Holmes big. The legend big. All of a sudden the air seemed crisper, the birds were louder and louder, the wings tastier, the beer colder, the tits I’m staring at a bit firmer and Oh my definitely larger. Yes men a good day becomes a great one when pig sh#t loses.

As for the upcoming game. I really don’t look for a close game. Or a shootout like some are predicting. Missouri has no defense. Offense has been struggling. Okie ST. has a much better team and we slowed their attack down. Look for similar results as in the Southern Miss game. I’m not predicting big scoring because of our offense. But because of our defense to put the offense in great positions for easy points. It’s a formula that has worked up to this point, no reason in picking against it now.

I agree with what has been said and many of the criticisms of the offense. But what I would like to point out is that we have a great punter that allows us to win the field position battle and what is wrong with an offense that does not make a whole lot of turnovers or mistakes or penalties. Yes there is a lack of big plays but there has also been a lack of huge fuckups unlike last year. Decisions are better, and it seems like we are once agains wearing down opponents. Ohio st seemed to have asimilar game plan last year. There is definetley room for improvement and I am still curious to see what page 2 of the play book looks like. Hopefully we see it when we play some bigger games.
