I sent Paul a PM about this issue as well, included notes in his history, told him basically he's on thin ice and it'll stop or he'll be banned.

 
Everyone has been going after hskerprid since his avatar was allegedly "of his wife". A lot of people gave him crap for that. That's why I'm assuming hskrprid rugged PaulCr.

hskrprid (what an awful name!) is the guy with the picture of his wife in a bikini in his avatar. For some reason a lot of the guys jumped on something hskrprid said a year or so ago, he got pissy, someone brought his wife/avatar into it, and kchusker_chris dug through hskrprid's PhotoBucket account to find more pictures of hskrprid's wife. It got ugly from there, and there was some joke about a rug made.

That's what Crewe referenced in the post that started all that.

I think both deserve a suspension for this, but not a ban. Both guys have several warnings for personal attacks, but as it turns out, both were warned for getting into it with trolls who eventually got banned.

Each guy really has only one warning that sticks - if we're discounting personal attacks against trolls like FLU.

But each guy now has a history of going after people outside the Woodshed. And both know very well that those posts belong in the Shed.

 
Both of them were sent a PM about this situation and advised of the 7 day suspension. If we have problems out them again I believe it'll be Crewe first. He was questioning me already in the first PM I sent him since I rescinded one of my warnings from awhile ago due to FLU being a troll.

 
BRI, a couple of things.

1. When someone is suspended, the can't get PMs through the board. You'll want to use the email function to inform them. What I typically do is send them the email, THEN suspend or ban. If I remember correctly, once you suspend or ban, not only do are they not able to access PMs, the email through the Board doesn't go to them either. The reason I bring this up is huskerprid emailed us through the Admin email address (not the Board software) to ask how long he was suspended.

2. Would you please check the suspension? What I'm seeing is that both have been banned rather than suspended. But perhaps I'm missing something.

 
Frank, thanks for catching that, I've never had to ban someone for just a few days. It's been either all or just a warning adjust for me for the most part. I'll do that next time,

Hey, at least you didn't do that thing I did where I suspended someone for "7 days" and forgot about it for a month.
