This wasn't even close...Even Iowa looked better at times in Happy Valley than NU did, and they're terrible. if there is a silver lining, at least NU won't let things go to their head...as usual, they were by far and away inferior to Penn St. IMO, they don't deserve a #1 ranking until they can beat PSU on at the very least a neutral site. The fans won the last match for them at home, and that was even a very narrow win. What can put the Huskers over the hump vs. their nemesis?

 
Because the path the had to get there was really easy, right? Playing at Penn St. on the road the night after playing at Ohio St. It's not easy.

As far as squeaked by PSU.. no, incorrect. We absolutely dominated them in the 1st 2 sets and then continued the 3rd and 4th sets by playing overly conservative instead of attacking the way we have under Cook when we get up 2-0. The good teams take advantage and make it a match. Plus, you act like this is football. Who cares if we lose a match, it's not the end of the world. No need to go undefeated to win the National Title....
