Huskers announce versatile signing class

Looks like an excellent class. I like the fact that it's heavily slanted towards H.S players. Developing players looks like one of the biggest strengths of this staff.

 
Three Names to watch that are likely to enter college as Boldt will likely Bolt for the MLB... (cry)

Max Knutson - flat out gifted with speed to burn... this kid has talent

Bryce Only - kid has range at 3rd... glove goes deep with the arm to make the long throw... also has bat speed that is sick and can run the bases... however, with our current infield depth, coaching staff might red shirt him.

Jake Wimer - coming off injury and struggled some but this kid can pitch. lots of movement and ability to hit corners. Silva's type of pitcher and a lefty to boot. I'm expecting big things from Wimer.

Erstad and Company, love what you guys are doing there. Can hardly wait for the 2013 season start. :)

 
Appeciate the insight Hacker. I hadn't found any info on Wimer so that's great news!.

I am also looking forward to seeing what Edrington can do as he might be able to help us right away at SS.
