The Browns and Bengals may own the state's attention on Sundays. The Buckeyes carry Saturdays. But it's just as much the passion displayed on Fridays that cause the locals to declare the state of Ohio as "football-crazed."
You know of those Friday night lights in Texas. And you're well aware of those speed merchants that fly from hash mark to hash mark in Florida and California.
But if you're a college football coach worth your salt, you best steer your ride through Ohio a few times a year. Too much talent to not pull over and cast a look.
Ask Nick Saban, Brady Hoke, Bo Pelini. Ask Jim … well, OK, Jim Tressel might be tough to reach right now.
