Huskers Vs. Zags Game 2

Two promising yet sloppy games for a team that hasn't been good in a long time and is under a 1st year head coach, both at this program and period in baseball?

We're just fine. The sky is still in fact up there.

Always a little mystifying how coaches play it out............

Obviously, our closer didn't have his good stuff...........yet they left him out there to get hammered..................

That's the thing about baseball............plenty of opportunites for second guessing. (fwiw..............I always thought Anderson had too quick of a hook................looks like Silva might lean the other way)

Tough loss to take ...............we should have salvaged one of the first two.......................

Maybe today.............

Hadn't originally planned, but heading to today's game. Last night was fun despite the bad loss. 1200+ was announced attendance. Assuming accurate, 1000+ was pulling for Red. This early in the season, I'd like to see the program come to AZ annually.

Erstad said before the season started that the early games would be used to see what the entire roster was made of. How the coaches handle situations right now might not reflect how they will be handled down the line with more at stake. I think they wanted to see Niederklein work out of the jam and were confident that he was capable of doing so, too bad it didn't work out last night, it was definitely hard to listen as it happened :ahhhhhhhh
