Huskers Vs Zags Game 3

Maybe instead of making uninspired snide remarks, you try to put a little thought into the post. It really does nothing but hurt the validity of your posts when all you can bring to the table is bashing. Just a thought.
Who's bashing who? Maybe you should just worry about your own posts.

My honest opinion is that this team is better for the simple fact that Anderson is not in the dugout anymore. If you have a problem with that, then it's not my fault. As far as team performance, I didn't watch any of the games, so I don't know much other than we should have won the last 2 games of the series but let it slip away late in the game. Like Po said, once (if) we find some relief pitching, the team has a lot of talent and potential.

BTW, my biggest gripe with Anderson's teams is that after Childress left, the teams obviously got worse and worse each year, and the integrity of the baseball program could have been salvaged a little bit had we canned Anderson 1 or 2 years earlier. Now, Erstad has the task of rebuilding in the same manner that Bo had to with the football team. Give it a little time.
How am I not giving it a little time?

My original point to you: don't use profanity to describe one individual if you want your point to be well-taken. Plain and simple.

I never once bashed you, simply gave you a little bit of advice. If you have an issue with that, I'm sorry.

Now to your point. If the task of rebuilding this team is like what Bo had to do with the Football program, we will be just fine this year. Bo took over with a ton of talent to do what he needs. If you trust the multiple recruit rankings in college baseball, Nebraska should be pretty good for the near future. We have had really good classes over the past few years. With you guys saying how good of a coach Erstad will be, I'm excited for what will happen this year and next. As I've said, I'm really excited about Bolt and Silva, hopefully the results come.

I'm not sure what you want me to say about the Cubs analogy. I thought it was fairly obvious I was talking about Mike Quade, who had never been a manager before taking over the interim duties in 2010 and then going full time in 2011. He was in WAY, WAY, WAY over his head last year and it was freaking obvious.
I was hoping this is what you were going to say. So Quade's 17 years of being a manager in the minors in Double and Triple A probably did nothing for him. I'd ignore the two manager of the year awards that he won as well. Four years as a first base coach under Art Howe and two and a half as a third base coach under Pinella probably didn't help him learn a thing either. So gonna chalk that example as an epic fail. His failure as the Cubs manager had way more to do with retarded contracts and failed trades that Hendry was tossing out. An old team is not a good thing.

I better example would have been going "full retard" on the White Sox for hiring Robin Ventura to manage. Now there is someone with NO experience

Hooray! You "burned" me on Quade. Congrats. Not entirely sure how it's remotely relevant to the Huskers, but congrats all the same.

You brought it up and epically failed. Enjoy the misery and self loathing.

And as a huge Sox fan, I was at Main Street in Lincoln when I found out they hired Ventura and I thought I was going to kill someone.....BRUTAL hire.
