knapp's post in the Woodshed suggested maybe Aloha was huskerfan2000. They really don't seem similar in their posting to me, but I looked at the IPs.

One of Aloha's IPs is shared with HuskerShark for one of his posts. Also the same IP appears for both users under error_logs; this tends to mean they visited the site and found out they were banned.

HuskerShark appears to have been banned ... about a month ago?

Has to be the same guy. I banned HuskerShark for a personal attack - not his first by any means.

In addition to the IP and the similarity in the email addresses, note that Aloha's email has the word "Rexius" in it. Note, also, that 'Shark supported Trump because Trump knew business and no one on the board knew a thing about business. He kept talking about convincing kids to go into franchises rather than college, and that he wasted 5 years in college getting a business degree and didn't learn a thing until he went into franchising. Well, do a Google on Rexius Nutrition and guess what - it's a franchise that seems to be concentrated in Nebraska.

I'm banning the account.

Oh, my post got cut off! I was about to say I hadn't seen anything from Aloha that made me think warning so far. But also that it was a clear circumvention, and since I couldn't remember what Shark got banned for, I wanted to ask about that. AR managed to read my mind

There was some discussion at in the Shed about ActualCornHusker being a banned member.





knapp suggested Ric Flair.  But upon some investigation, I think it's possible it's HuskerShark.  

I don't see a direct IP match.  But ActualCornHusker's email is claussenandstarkpropertiesllc@gmail.com  ACH registered on 8/27/2019 and was last active today.

HuskerShark's was starkjamie2008@hotmail.com.  HS registered on 9/19/11 and was banned on 9/7/16

AlohaHuskers was jstark33rexius@gmail.com.  AH registered on 9/30/16 and was banned on 10/11/16

There are also two other banned accounts that are similar but I'm not sure if they're related:

Hip Hip Hooray's email was sigmundstark@gmail.com.  HHH only lasted from 9/26/15 to 9/27/15

HHH was banned for being a sock for OriginalBigRed who used cstark1985@yahoo.com.  Not really sure why OBR got banned.

Obviously there can be more than one Stark but I think it was interesting that they were all banned.

Anyway, I think it's plausible that ACH is HuskerShark.  I'm not in P&R enough to know what they are complaining about but we might want to keep an eye on it.  I might do some more IP address work when I have time.

 
The 'stark' reference in the email, and this poster's politically conservative viewpoints, make for an interesting coincidence. I think there's a better than average chance that this is Aloha/HuskerShark.

I went through some of their more recent P&R activity and I don't see anything that violates a board rule. My cursory glance is that this person leans conservative and shares quite a few contradictory viewpoints to people like knapplc. But, I also see @ActualCornHuskeracquiescing a bit and saying things like "I actually agree with you there TBH." If anything, he's doing a better job of keeping a level head than most.

IMO, this may be one of those circumstances where we let things play out for awhile and avoid the witch hunt. Aloha's ban was more than three years ago and (so far) they appear to be playing nice. 

 
So this post being pointed out in the Political dbag HOF got me looking:





But I had totally forgotten that we had figured out that @ActualCornHusker was HuskerShark aka AlohaHuskers aka Hip Hip Hooray.  Also probably aka OriginalBigRed and aka JamesParkin.

Looking through his posting history, when he's in the football forum he seems to be fine.  I rarely venture into P&R but I have a feeling it's not the same story there.

He only has one warning (on his current account) from @Enhance this summer.

He hasn't ventured into the P&R forum much since I gave him a suspension in June. During this most recent spring/summer, he had been starting to go 'back over the deep end.' Cultivating animosity, being unnecessarily aggressive, flaming people but stopping just short of making it explicitly personal, etc. Basically, appearing to not be here for conversation but to pick fights.

Then he pulled the same stuff with me and my fuse was pretty short that day. I'm guessing he backed off P&R after the suspension because he realized he was in hot water again and didn't want to risk another ban.

My vote would be to just ban him again. Not because of the genital manipulation/drag queen post (although, I think he's trying to generate negative responses with that post) but because of his history. It probably should've been done over the summer but I totally forgot he was HuskerShark; if I had remembered this conversation, I probably would've banned him on the spot. 

IMO he needed to be squeaky clean with this account if he wanted to remain here and he hasn't done that.
