when you put the cursor over the title of a thread, it tells you when the topic was started. I belong to a Jets web site that shows you several lines of the actual post instead. Its very convenient, gives you an idea of whats up without having to actually go in.

 
That's one we'll have to work on - not sure that there is a mod for that for this version of the software, but we'll see what we can find, and if so, how difficult it would be to implement.
