We need to fire Cotton and Gilmore at the end of the season. If we get a good oline coach and wrs coach then i feel all of the offensive problems will be fixed. The WR's will run better routes and be able to catch balls. The oline will be more disciplined and maybe we can coach them to be dominant again. I think maybe we are blaming Watson a little too much (although he is at fault to a smaller degree).

Im giving watson until the end of the season.... hopefully he finds another job. I dont think Bo will fire him though unless pressured.

For the last 2 years we have seen this offense absolutely come up with nothing against teams with somewhat of a defense. Teams like LSU, Auburn, Oregon, Wisconsin seem to find a way when facing a good defense.

He has to go, take Cotton and Gilmore with him also.

The recievers have been running good routes, they have been open the majority of the season. Im not sure how much the reciever coach has to do with them actually catching the ball. as for Cotton the oline has blocked well, but there is a huge disciplin problem and while it is the players job to stay disciplined some of that accountablity rests on cotton's shoulders.

Why would you give him anymore chances, period? He's had about 8 chances the last two years in big games and has failed in all but 1 (the OSU game this year). Unfortunately, Bo's about loyalty and defense so he won't be firing Watson unless told to do so and T.O. won't be telling him to fire anyone.

Disagree. They have blocked well at times, usually late in a game when momentum is on their side. When the team needs a push to get something started, they've rarely performed. Way too inconsistent.

Reed has been running good routes but hes also a TE. Im not that pleased with the route running of the other wrs. From what I have been hearing, the WR's work on blocking more in practice than catching.

That inconsistency falls on the offensive line coach.

Zoogies and Kansas huskers are watsons kids, I have deduced. They argue against all reason that the ACTUAL PLAY ON THE FIELD is not a result, even a remote possiblility, of the last 3-5 yrs of coaching.

It just goes against reason that how or the way they are being coached/developed/held accountable/taught/etc...has anything to do with their performance, right?

Example: Austin Cassidy probly wouldn't start for 7 or 8 B12 teams, yet he makes huge plays for us on D.

Niles Paul is a 4* recruit and has 4 years of experience in this system, yet can't keep out of his own way.

All player or all coaching or a combination?

The recievers catching the ball rely heavily on the coach..that why we have a "receivers" coach....consistant o-line blocking rely heavily on the o-line coach..hence the name "o-line" coach....and the offense struggling rely heavily on the "offensive coordinator"...i think you get my drift..maybe pelini can focus some of his anger on the man who has athletes all over on offense yet can move it against an average defense...when did we see helu, burkhead, and tmart all in the backfield at once? NEVER..we seem to be able to put all of our best players on the field on defense, yet cant do so on offense..shear stupidity on watsons part...no more chances for him..he's proven he has only been average wherever he's coached..I thought Bo doesnt settle for average, and strives for perfection..the offense is the complete opposite of perfect..its a disaster...i dont wanna hear about tmart and other injuries...we were perfectly healthy against Texas and couldnt execute worth a crap against an athletic defense..same result last week..just a different texas team
