Thanks for tracking these numbers down, Scott.

The thing that jumps out to me about this is, Iowa's numbers on offense seem remarkably similar to what I remember from Northwestern. I went into that game pretty confident we'd shut them down. Instead, we gave up 470 yards of offense.

Yea those numbers arent too far off of NWs......... 2 interseting things, NW is more alittle more balanced offensively ranked 37th in both passing/rushing and is terrible against the run. Offensively I hope Nebraska can get to that point. Averaging around 440 of offense scoring 30 points a game. NWs defense is the only thing keeping them from being a better team.

Iowa beat NW by 10 41-31.

For as much gripe as our secondary is getting. Being ranked 19th isnt that bad. I believe we were in the top 10 last year.

I think a lot of that comes down to the fact that we're giving up yards in bunches on the ground, and we're facing teams that are far more interested in running than passing this year.
