Irish at Sooners and the New Rivalries

Well who'd have thunk it. Notre Dame, Michigan, Oklahoma, Nebraska are in two stadia today, but not the matchups history would suggest.

But this is the future. Michigan and Nebrasa are linked. ND-Michigan is winding down.

I don't know if we have a long term relationship with the Big12 now that the conference race has ended, but we sure will be seeing both OK and TX a few times, while Nebs will meet all of our old big10 neighbors. The future is now I guess.

Meanwhile.

Stoops hasn't lost two home games in a year.

ND hasn't lost in Norman.

something's gotta give

This is excruciating. Our D was hanging on for dear life, giving up 110 yards in the first 4 minutes. The offense gets all these opportunities and then drops a ball, misses a lane, or Golson doesn't see the WR.

Sooners self-destructed here at the end. To be fair, they are not used to competing at this level, these last few years.

And I am no fan of Notre Dame, but they have to be congratulated. They clawed their way back to the top after a very long turn in purgatory. Hopefully we can join them in that stratosphere in the next year or two.

Sooners get the mercy score at the end. 30-20.

/Edit: Play called back to the 1 yd line. Guy's foot was OB. lol
