What is up with this guy? Member @jackoff joined 9/6/14. He's stuck in the validation loop (something we really need to fix), and he can't post in the forums.

But he's been active on the Status Updates, starting nine of them himself and commenting in a bunch of others.

Why would someone try to join this board, get stuck in the validation thing, never complain/ask about that, and post a ton on Status Updates? His email is a dummy, it doesn't appear anywhere else on the internet. His IP address is TimeWarner here in Lincoln, and that doesn't ring any bells as far as banned members go.

Kind of a weird situation. Weird user name. Weird that he posts on statuses but doesn't ask to be allowed to post in the forum. Weird that he isn't traceable anywhere on the webz.

 
No idea. And yes, very odd. Are his status posts acceptable? I don't recall seeing any of them.

As for the validation, the problem for a loooong time (that we didn't realize) was that a lot of ISPs were blocking the Huskerboard domain and flagging any emails from the board as spam. We finally got that fixed, and so far haven't seen any failed validations. Most likely TimeWarner was one of the ISPs that had emails from Huskerboard blocked. Of course, that doesn't explain why he hasn't inquired.

Yeah, it is. I can't get up to Iowa often to visit your wife and my kids, even though she keeps emailing and texting me that she needs, you know, a REAL man. So, it seemed appropriate...

 
Not crazy about Chihuahuas, Miller Lite is for junior high boys and women, and the dollies on your rocking chair smell of lavender. So, no worries on all three.
