Jamal Turner to WR?

I'm not sure if anyone has posted on this, but I saw something on the local news tonight about JT moving to wide receiver. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch the segment... Anyone hear anything on this?

 
It was announced a few days ago that JT was making the switch to wide receiver.

Not much has been said about the move, as far as I know. He's just a very athletic young man that they thought would be more productive at the wide receiver position, I guess.

It's to to simply get him on the field faster. He's playing at the slot and has been one of the biggest stories over the last week. Beck has referred to the play of JT as well as Bell as "electrifying" (if that's spelled right).

Honestly I could easily see Turner getting quite a few plays in this year. We could have another Bobby Newcomb here folks!

 
I also see it as a Bobby Newcombe situation, at least right now. Beck said that Turner wasn't done at QB, but that they were looking at ways to get their best athletes on the field immediately.

Not a shocker that he moved, he will bring much needed speed and elusivness to the WR's. Could also see him running some wildcat formation.

 
I don't think we should give up with Jamal at quarterback, and it sounds like we aren't, it just sounds like Coach Beck is trying to get his best athletes on the field, which is what I would do too. Let's just hope he can catch, because if he can, we can cause mis-matches that will create opportunities up and down our offense.
