Jeremy Wallace of Omaha Bryan will walk on to the University of Nebraska.

Seems like a pretty solid prospect that isn't overwhelming in any of his measurable, but he has the heart of a husker and sounds like he wants to work harder than anyone to earn a scholarship.

Rivals list him as a RB, but I would think with the talent we have there he will end up on the defensive side of the ball.

 
Inside linebacker Jeremy Wallace might have been overlooked by most of the top Division-I programs, but the high achieving player from Bryan High School in Omaha is not without scholarship offers and options. However, the 6-foot-1, 225-pound Wallace would like to get that one particular offer. It happened and he has accepted.

It sounds like we're starting to save a couple scholarships each year for the walk ons who work the hardest and eventually can earn them and that is what it sounds like Jeremy is counting on a year or two down the road.
