The real question here - if they lined up on opposite sides of the ball, could Thorpe elude Taylor? Could Taylor tackle Thorpe?

 
Thorpe was all-everything - it seemed that there wasn't a football skill at which he didn't excell. Taylor, for all his ability, was a defensive player only. Vote goes to Thorpe on versatility.
