Yeah, I would think this has to mean he's our next first choice.

Interesting that he's listed a dual-threat QB and an athlete and looks to have almost exclusively run the shotgun spread.

Very interesting. I feel like the staff really has changed their tune as far as what they are looking for in a QB. They still want pass first, thank god, but they are really valuing the run ability, which tells me they are A-Okay with Armstrong this year.

PS,

He is really excited about the offer. His mom also. Says Nebraska has always been their favorite place. Wants to make a decision before start of his senior year. Wants to visit again. Was here for a QB camp in June.

Have to say I'm a little surprised by this one. Has potential as a passer but wasn't as much of a finished product as I would like. Didn't show a lot of anticipation on his throws and didnt move through his progressions as well. But I trust the coaches on this one.

According to Wilson, Landsdorf let him know Nebraska will not expect the QB to run as much as in the recent past, but they plan to keep some of the zone read run game.

Would we take two QBs in the right situation? Say Stanton leaves, pick up O'Brien and Wilson?
Unless we get Mitchell to commit before next recruiting cycle then I think we should.
Wilson is also athletic enough to succeed at a different position if QB doesn't work, could be compared to the AJ Bush situation.
Thought I read Langsdorf say they'd like to just take one QB per year and stack the depth that way.

Could mean they have more faith than some believe in TA, ZD and AJB... Meaning they will have time to develop this youngster.
