"I have nine offers right now and Nebraska was the latest to offer. I took a visit to Cal and I just got off the phone with West Virginia and we are figuring out a date. I am also taking a visit to Texas Tech."


The Nebraska offer according to Whitney is one of the better offers that he's received. The offer was a bit out of left field and caught Whitney off-guard. There is a pretty good chance that the Huskers will get a chance to host Whitney later this season.

"To be honest that was one of my better offers," Whitney said. "I was surprised when they offered. It kind of came out of nowhere. I will probably take an official visit there."
