The question itself is a bit ridiculous; we're 8 games into a new staff who have to completely replenish a WR corp that had very little talent in it (past the top 2 players in the group, who are conveniently left out of this conversation). I suspect the reason why guys like Woodyard and McQuitty haven't seen the field much yet is the same reason why Warner has: blocking. No block, no rock; even though Woodyard and McQuitty are more naturally talented than Warner, Warner has an affinity for blocking that the former two do not. He and Williams will attack downfield blocking, which is why they are getting the lions share of opportunities behind Morgan and JD.
Now, for your hypothetical (and it isn't even Tuesday, right
@ScottyIce?): I suspect that, sooner or later, there will be an opening at the OC/WR position. Walters has an eye on being a head coach, and he'll leave on his own volition long, long before Frost would ever entertain firing him. As long as Frost is comfortable with Williams' off-the-field issues, I would welcome him back on the staff in a heartbeat. By all accounts, he's a good coach and a good recruiter, and he cares about his players. And he's atoned for his mistakes. However, I give this less of a chance of happening this offseason (Frost firing Walters and hiring Williams) than all of Scotty's hypotheticals combined.
