We all have moments that make us proud to be Husker fans. I had a lot of people ask me what I thought the game against MSU would be like this weekend, and I told them that I expected the fans to be great. They were surprised, given how the season has gone, that I still thought the Husker crowd would be loud. I knew that the fans would be excellent, but I was blown away by just how great the crowd was. It was obvious that the team was feeding off the energy, and even the MSU players have mentioned it. I could practically feel the noise through the TV!
There are few, if any, other teams that would get this kind of support while having the season the Huskers are having. As I watched the game from AZ, I was given yet another example of why I am so proud to be a Husker fan. For those of you on this board that were there, thank you. Thank you for being loud, for supporting the team, and for giving everything that you had to the team. There truly is no place like Nebraska. GBR!
