I'm sure you guys have seen it, but Landlord likes to be a smartass in threads. He just responded to ohiohusker in a thread that she started about seeing a lot of Husker fans leaving the Penn. area. Instead of saying something positive he says, "Um, why?" I'm sick of his snarky posts and his hollier than thou attitude that screams from every post he makes. I called him on it in the thread and said he can always not respond if he'd like. He's done this several times and he gets too big for his britches IMO. I'm tired of it...........not saying he needs banned or anything, but I'm gonna knock him down a notch or two. *shakes head*

 
So he responds to your post by saying he was genuinely confused about her topic, and says he "needs a snickers." We've all seen those commercials, so we know what he's referring to.

Then, seven minutes later, this is his response to my wonderment about the Bo/Cat picture:

I know that's a weird question to ask, but as I was cleaning out the riff-raff from my "HuskerBoard Stuff" folder at home last night, I found a folder with the various cobbled-together parts and pieces of that picture. The originals of both Bo faces, and the original of the semi-balding dude with the cat as the base. There was a layered photoshop image of all of that cobbled together, and the picture in the OP was labeled as "BoCatForWeb."

Which makes me think.... Did I make that pic?

He sees someone commenting on his snark, explains it away, then snarks again.

So uhh... yeah.

The thing about Landlord is that he's all about Landlord. His user name is presumptuous. One of his favorite threads, which he created, is to post pictures of himself - and LOTS of them. His twitter handle is his name, and the avatar is a picture of him.

There's a cult-of-personality quality about Landlord that's always kinda made me stay at arm's length with him. Meeting him in person at the tailgate didn't dissuade me from that belief.

 
I don't want to meet him, I'd probably tell him he's a snot-nosed self-centered prick with a condescending presence about him that I don't care for.

OK, now this is just creepy. I just got this PM from him:

Got a notification that you quoted me, but when I click on it I get an error of not having permission to view the content. I have a new work computer so I figured I needed to enter the password for the shed, but even after doing it it won't let me view whatever the quote is.

The hell? Talking smack knapp!???

He has notifications set up for every time someone quotes him.

He's very different that's for sure..............I've never really cared for him. I just know I'm tired of him posting all over the board with his smartass posts. Don't care what his excuse is, he knows what he's doing. If you don't agree with him, you're wrong, no matter what you're wrong and he's got all the experience in the world to show you why in his, what, 20 years on this earth?

 
Yeah, he's a pretty young fella. Not more than 25, and certainly a bit younger.

I think you'd like him if you met him, Trevor. He's not a bad guy, just kinda full of himself. I honestly think that stems from a bit of low self-esteem, which I think he'll get over once he gets into a committed relationship. I think being single bothers him.

I was quite different than I am now before I met my wife. I was pretty shy, rarely spoke unless spoken to, that kind of thing. Met this girl, she seemed to like hanging around me, and my confidence exploded into this flaming mess of message board vomit you all know and love so well.

I do too. It's the easiest way to respond to people who respond to you.

I didn't realize notifications would go out that way. Well, that's something to be careful of in the future.
