Lavonte David emerging as leader of Buc's defense

like others have said... this is not surprising. David had (and has) it all. Speed, quickness, great anticipation, excellent angles, great tackling skills, fantastic focus/effort/intensity. The sky is the limit for him. Expect an all-pro season from him.

In my lifetime (22 years), I've never seen a linebacker that had better instincts that Lavonte. He always found the ballcarrier, always finished the play, and had the speed and quickness to cover receivers.

Not to mention he never said a negative thing about his teammates/coaches or got into trouble off the field.

Maybe the best LB we've seen here in the last 10 years, an amazing player.
DeMorrio Williams maybe?
Williams was a monster, but I'd take David without a moments hesitation.
This. Demarrio was a special talent, but Lavonte is a different level imo.
I wasn't suggesting that Wiliams was better. ADS said that David was the best LB in the last 10 years. I was trying to remember back that far as to who was the last "great" one. WIlliams came to mind. Couldn't really think of anyone after him until David.

I misunderstood your post then, yeah the only ne maybe even close to Lavonte is Demarrio. Other than that, nobody really stands out.
