We're experiencing a lot of competing issues with Loe Doesn't Know right now, what with multiple different DM conversations going on as well as the reports he filed against people inside and out of the Shed personally attacking him.

I know @lo countryhasn't been tagged in all of the conversations, but I'll give a quick rundown:
1) He threatened legal action against the board a couple months ago after he got suspended
2) Reported a post in P&R personally attacking him (this is the one we've all be discussing recently)
3) Reported/DM'd mods about people personally attacking him in the Woodshed, which the Shed has always been the home for
4) Criticizing Mav and I via DM's for our moderation
5) He just sent Moiraine a DM personally attacking her, and CC'd Mavric and I on there, despite already being told to keep those kind of posts to the Shed. I'll include a screenshot below.

Should we just ban this guy? Sending Moiraine a DM telling her to "go f#&% herself" after being told to keep those conversations to the Shed... he's just a constant source of belly-aching and problems, and is flouting our rules just to be problematic. He also refuses to listen to us and denies any type of wrongdoing.

I don't really see a strong argument for why we should continue to placate him and his membership.

Just seeing this. Learning my way around the different access.  I thing the DM''ing is a step up from the typical banter as there is no disputing that your comments were directed at a specific person and were by the very nature of the DM  it was personal.  I always thought the woodshed was a no holds barred area where personal attacks were not really policed.  I place to go to hash it out without violating board rules or getting everyone else involved.  

And what legal action do you have to file against the board.  This is for all intents and purpose a private board where you "apply" to join and agree to abide by the rules set forth.  I don't like the "I'll sue you" (My words not his).  It's also disingenuous to complain about someone attacking you personally in a thread and then specifically DM'ing a member.  Members who feel they are aggrieved or personally attacked need to be able to contact the mods and have some adjudication of their issues.  But you can contact the mods and then go and do the same things or worse to another board member. Also, I can't see anything on the board that has or would make me tell another poster to go F themselves.  And tbh, I can pretty opinionated at times.  

 
It didn't occur to me until this morning, but Loe must've sent that DM to Moiraine, and then she added you and I @Mavric afterwards, correct? When I first read it I thought he had sent it to all of us I forgot people can add others to ongoing conversations.

So I sat on all this for about a day or so just to see if I felt the same way and I still do. The "final straw" to me is the fact he sent a DM to another member, cursing them out directly, despite having been told before that that those conversations should be kept to the Shed.

The fact he is also fighting with you and I Mavric via DMs, going over our heads to BRM every time he gets angry, and demanding transparency into every little thing we do... this stuff isn't going to end. He has shown zero signs of letting up and honestly going after someone in DM's after being told to keep that stuff in the Shed should be a final straw in addition to all of his other belly-aching and problem-causing.

Do you guys have a problem if I make that move today? I'm open to dissenting opinions.

It took me a minute to figure that out as well, but I believe that is what happened.

This would seem to be ban-worthy.  That is uncalled for, unacceptable and juvenile.

I agree.  As I said, he'll be a problem until he's gone, one way or the other.

My only comment is I would probably defer to @BigRedMax on that, considering the threatened legal action.  It would probably be better for him to make that call, considering he may be the one who has the most headaches from that decision.

 
Directly DM'ing a member crosses a line.  It's one thing (not acceptable) to say something in a thread in the "heat of the moment", but this action to more premeditated and deliberate.  Any they have complained about the personal attacks which y'all have addressed and then did this via DM.

I agree with @Mavric about consulting BRM.  Especially after threatening civil action.  

 
He's continuing to be problematic in the DM with Moiraine, Mavric and I.

He's still being critical of Mavric and I, and he is trying to tell us how to do our jobs by saying "if Moiraine wants him punished then it's her call" for the DM he sent her. That's not how we do things and the fact he's continuing to disrespect moderators in this way is another strike on his record.

I'm just sharing this for documentation purposes.

knapplc and Guy are also saying in the Woodshed that Loe has sent them harassing DM's in the past.

I don't like to punish people for stuff that happened months/years in the past but wanted to note it here that he has gone after people via DM's before.
