LINCOLN — After a full June of recruiting, Nebraska football is done apologizing for ambition.

The third and final Friday Night Lights camp at Memorial Stadium — held June 24 — was a statement by NU’s coaching staff. But that’s not all.

It was a statement by the Husker players, who showed up en masse to work the camp and just embrace the possibility of attracting top talent.

I hope this doesn't get taken the wrong way because overall I want the kid to succeed, but outside of winning, I hope our DBs shut down CJ Johnson for no impact the entire game. I know the previous staff dropped the ball, but I hope that game makes him regret his decision to not give KW a shot and Riley tried coming in late.
