Member "timeout"

Anyone recall a member called "timeout"? He joined in late 2011. I show him as banned, but there's nothing listed as to why. Did a search in this forum, and no hits. Apparently, he tried to hit the board and sent an email wanting to know why he can't access it. His email is rkhegler@windstream.net. IPs don't correspond to anyone else. Anybody got anything?

AR, the ACP logs show that you edited his account on Jan 2, 2013 and banned it Jan 4, 2013. No notes, though.

Absent any documentation for the ban, we should probably reinstate him.

Yeah - can't believe I didn't put anything in there. All I can think is that he was spamming the board or had a link he should not have had, etc. No idea why I didn't document it. I'll reinstate it for now.

Mystery solved. "timeout" is "Goal-Line", the guy Lance gave a 7-day suspension for intentionally derailing the Husker Prayer thread. The dumbass emailed me again asking why his account was "banned". The email address he used is linked to "timeout". So, I responded and told him his account was fine - no restrictions. He insisted it was locked, so I asked him what account he was trying to log in. He said "Goal-Line". Lance had both infractions in the Notes section. So, I've banned the "timeout" account (left the IP untouched). I also responded to him and told him that he was suspended for derailing the Husker Prayer thread - for the second time. He responded with, "What?" I simply deleted that email - I can't use smaller words than I used.

 
That's really weird, because he asked about his ban more than two weeks before he acted the fool in that prayer thread. So somehow we must have already figured out that "timeout" was "goal-line" and taken action, but forgot to log it.

Can you tell if that was the kind of ban a Moderator can do, or an IP ban like the Admins can do? I can believe I would have banned him and forgotten to log it, but I don't know how I would have known one guy was the other. Maybe the email?

 
No, it was an Admin ban. What I'm thinking is that you may have outed him and let me know, and it was during one of those nights when all hell was breaking loose. I banned him, and then didn't have time to document it.
