Oh. Well, never mind, then!
Sorry about that.....that was a good idea. I was just thinking people are probably going to notice these guys are mods and would start wondering. But we can def let ol' Knapplc roast us on the introductions on the old guys when we post.

If we could all drop a quick line for our five new mod extraordinaires that would be great. Please do not put anything that makes you uncomfortable (que perverted jokes). Simply edit this specific post and add to it.

Eric the Red: Originally from New Jersey, graduated from UNL way back, met a girl on "O" St and the rest of my Nebraska existence is history as they would say. Over 13 years ago, my college buddy Chad (Blackshirt) and I started this board from day 1. We carried on conversations with ourselves trying to drum up attention. It worked and now Huskerboard has the great responsibility to help Husker fans all over the world keep up with, debate and cheer on the men and women in Scarlet and Cream.

BIGREDIOWAN: Trevor, been on huskerboard since 2005, got bored one day at work, searched for "Husker message board" and here I am 10 years later. Happy to be a mod on the best husker site out there and look forward to working with you guys. Ask all the questions you need to, we were all there once and still discuss things from time-to-time. It's a good time for you to come on board given it's the off-season. That way you can figure out functions and all that stuff before the storm hits, football season! How did I become a husker fan? Started watching football in the early 90's and of course Nebraska was the team during that time. It just stuck even though I'm a kid who grew up in central Iowa and still calls this place home. Welcome to the team!

zoogs: Hey guys, I'm traveling this weekend so please excuse my brevity. I'm a California kid these days I guess, but grew up on the east coast, so you can also could me a Masshole (that is the proper term). I'm 24 and studied engineering, and am currently pondering what to do next! I've been a Husker fan since I was a kid and lived in Nebraska briefly; the fandom is something that stuck. When I joined this place I didn't imagine I'd find a community to stick around for so long, but it's been good times. Glad to have been asked to join the moderating crew. It's a good group, and I'm excited to welcome all of you to our team!

Thanks_Tom RR (Adam): Born and raised in Omaha, and I grew up a Husker fan (with the reign in the 90's as some of my childhood memories). Got a pair of degrees at UNO and moved my wife and kids out of Nebraska in 2007 to finish my doctorate at Florida St. I started looking around for an online community to stay current with the Huskers. HB fit the bill, but I only lurked for quite a while. Eventually, I took the plunge and signed up. My family and I are in Washington DC now, but I am open to returning to Nebraska, when the right job opens up. For now, I work at a major government research institute as a research scientist and coach youth wrestling (in my 8th year). Glad to join the HB mod crew!

AR Husker Fan (Frank GoBell): My parents, having had a female child, were so traumatized as to wait 11 years before trying again. Fortunately for them, I was the result, bringing such joy to their lives that they believed that that the curse of my sister had lifted. Thus, my younger brother - who quickly convinced my parents that 1 out of 3 was the best they could hope for. As an Air Force brat, I grew up all over, but we were stationed in Omaha when I discovered college football - and quickly came under the spell of the Huskers, which never abated. This was near the start of the Bobfather years. I can thank my father for my addiction - my favorite memories are sitting with him pulling for the Huskers. The Board quickly became my proxy to the Land of the Huskers. After my father retired, we settled in Arkansas - something about living in the country or some such nonsense. A classic understatement, to say the least. Took me years before I could understand the lingo, and still can't speak it. Regardless, I have done my best to enlighten the knuckle-draggers, but, alas, they seem to be genetically predisposed to third-rate football in the land of the Hogs. In addition to my winning disposition, I am unquestionably the best-looking of the group that comprises the Mods and Admins on HuskerBoard - a sorry looking lot if ever there was one. This has led to much jealousy on their part, but realizing that absent hundreds of thousands of dollars in plastic surgery they have no chance to compete, they have moderated their emotions. I now spend my time fixing the things on the Board that ETR breaks. So, I'm incredibly busy...

Hi, I'm knapplc. I've been a Mod here these past five years. I've met some of you, some of you I don't know from Adam. I was born & raised in Nebraska, live in Lincoln right now, and I've been a Husker fan all my life.

huskeraddict (Ryan): The $100 fee to become a moderator will be due in a week. Checks can be made payable to me. Welcome to the team.

saunders45 (Josh): Is this thing on? So yeah, I'm a 30 year old Husker fan. I slowly migrated to HB from the old BRR Scout site after Steve Ryan left and the new guy (Josh Harvey) took over. I think he does a better job on the coverage side, but the forums are a mess. It's basically a free for all, and all the jerks ran everyone off who was decent. So, I said "Bye Felicia" and as of a couple years ago HB was my one true Husker hangout, or something. Anyway, I was born in Hawaii (Dad was AF), and mostly raised in Omaha/Counciltucky where all my family is. Moved to Florida in 2001, got married a while back, and have 2 kids. and wife (a Florida girl) said we should name our first child Lincoln. So I guess I did alright. My work is in marketing with a focus in video and print design. Since I switched jobs, I have more freedom and and this company actually uses social media. I'm a board member of the Tampa Bay Huskers (local Alumni group) and I have embraced my love for the Huskers more since I left the homeland.

It'sNotAFakeID (Adam): The apostrophists finally make their way to the moderating team! Also my username comes to you courtesy of the great PaulCrewe who still thinks I'm 14 years old even though I am 23. Let's see, what else...Oh! I've basically moved my way across the Midwest, living in Minnesota for about 10 years, South Dakota for about 1 year, Nebraska for about 11 years, and Colorado for 1 year; I only really became a Husker fan during the Callahan era, so I'll take partial blame for the current state of Husker football. I'm graduated from UNL with a Psychology and Business degree and am currently finishing up my Masters in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at UNO. Honestly can't remember what brought me to this board; I think Ryan (addict) mentioned it one day and I looked it up, thought it was cool, made my username (Bye Bye Big XII for those of you who want to attach a previous username to a current username), and became a "notable" poster here. That was in the fall of 2010 and the content and atmosphere of HuskerBoard has kept me here ever since.

I am NUance. Most posters on HB "know" me. I hang out here a lot. Born in Lincoln Nebraska. Lived a couple years in South Dakota, but mostly grew up in central Nebraska. Got a degree from UNL, then moved to Southern Cal for a few years. Then moved all the way across country to Washington D.C. I got burned out on the whole big city thing at about that time, so I packed up my stuff, picked out a nice little town in west central Illinois, and moved there with my daughter. I live in Quincy Illinois. Got remarried a few years ago, and have a five year old son. I was a football fan growing up in Nebraska and attending UNL. But like a lot of people, I've become more of an NU football fan now that I no longer live there.

Blackshirtsguru (Rob); Been on this board for a long time and always thought it was the most informative one out there. Born and raised in Nebraska by way of Bellevue. Left Nebraska in 92 and joined the USAF. Did that for 10 years and got out to become a cop. I did that for 10 years before taking a Nuclear Security Job in Maryland. I have 3 boys and 1 girl who are VERY active in sports. I have been coaching youth football for 16 years now and absolutely love it. That pretty much sums it up for me....Glad to be here and looking forward to the 2015 Husker football season! GBR

Rawhide (Rick) Born in Lincoln and raised in Denton, Lincoln and Waverly (worldly traveler). Have spent the last twenty years on the left coast in Kali (the natives love that term). When I found HB in 04 I knew that I didn't need snail mail anymore for my LJS edition to arrive a week late with the news of all things Husker. Since I am the most knowledgeable mod/admin regarding computers I try to disguise this talent by pretending I know ti ti. It's worked very well so far. Please do not send checks to huskeraddict as they will not be deposited in the correct accounts. Just send me your atm card number and PIN. That oughta do it. GBR GBR GBR

Is everyone ok with what they wrote?

I wanted to post to the Main Football Forum. I will take out first names if you wish.
I did a bit of editing. Fine with it now. (I probly wouldn't share as much on the open board as behind closed doors.)

He's a lawyer, I probably have a bill headed my way for "billable hours" from him reading that!

Hell, BRI, you still haven't paid me for fixing your video problem.
For anyone not around then, BRI kept complaining that he couldn't view videos on the board. Day after day with the complaints. I told him how to fix it. Then I told him again. On the third time, he finally followed directions and...turned on his monitor.
