I don't think there is any doubt that Callahan and his crew will get their walking papers after the CU game. I can't tell you in a public forum why I know this is going to be the case but you can rest assured that the house cleaning is coming.

I never heard any of this. That violates some extreme, fundamental ethical boundaries. If that's the case, then Solich should have been canned regardless of his record.

Just like now with the coaches, there were rumors flying at the time. Bohl's rumored affair was with a student, but I believe Solich's was not with someone in the school.

Don't think anything was ever reported beyond the rumors.

From what I've been told, Solich didn't get a UNL student pregnant. He was simply having an affair with a woman who worked in the athletic department. I highly doubt Pud was screwing a high school girl as he would probably be in jail right now unless she's 18. The UNL student that got pregnant was supposedly someone Craig Bohl was nailing. I heard it was a cheerleader.

That would explain why Bohl left the state...! <_<

But once again, Pud screwed the pooch in how he handled it. He should have forced Solich to resign. If Solich refused, then Pud should have fired him and "aired" his dirty laundry for all of Husker Nation to see. It would have been quite simple. Solich is forced to resign and states health issues or personal matters. But hell no, Pud has to give this song and dance about mediocrity and surrendering the Big 12 to OU and Texass. Poor recruiting, blah, blah, blah.

So does the existence of the "Rumorville" room mean that people now won't get pissed when others discuss rumors? I laugh every time that someone posts a rumor or speculates on the board and people get all pissed off that someone dare taint the integrity of the board with rumors without hard evidence. Last time I checked, this is an Internet message board. IMO it's fun to read everyone's rumors/speculations. If you're not smart enough to sift through all of the BS then you probably shouldn't be on the Internet in the first place.
