Chili:
1 Large Pkg. Hamburger
1 Pkg. Farmer John’s Hot Sausage
Chopped Green Onions & White Onions, To Taste
***Or Just Use Chopped White Onions
2 Tsp. Garlic In A Jar
2-(10-oz.)-Cans Ro’Tel Diced Tomatoes & Zesty Green Chiles
1-(28-oz.)-Can Contadina Whole Peeled Tomatoes
1 lb. 13-oz. Hunts Tomato Sauce
4 Green Peppers, Chopped
Celery, Cut In Slices-(To Taste)
1 Pkg. Sliced Mushrooms
1-(1lb.)-Pkg. Pinto Beans
Garlic Salt & Pepper, To Taste
2 Pkgs. McCormick Chili Seasoning
Chili Powder, To Taste
***One Thing About Chili, You Can Take Away Ingredients Or Add Ingredients To Your Taste.
The night before, put Pinto Beans in a bowl; cover pinto beans with cold water; refrigerate overnight.
Fry hamburger and sausage in large skillet; drain grease.
Wash off sliced mushrooms under cold water in colander.
Put hamburger/sausage mixture and the rest of the ingredients in Dutch Oven or Crockpot; stir well.
Cook on 2 setting all day, stirring occasionally if using Dutch Oven.
If using Crockpot, cook on low.
Turn up heat to 4 setting later to get hot, if using Dutch Oven.
Serve in soup bowls topped with shredded cheddar cheese and crackers.
