Negative Recruiting

I think this guy is a good kid, I liked his dad a lot, and for that reason I hope he doesn't make the mistake of coming here.

This is the second time I have send one of our members post a comment that would be perceived as negative recruiting over the last week. I removed the original post and those quoting it in their response. However, is this something we address with our members as a violation of our board rules or simply something frowned upon?

It's not what we want to see but it's a guy's opinion and I think he can say it if he wants. Rebuking the point as another poster responding is fair, but there's no real need to censor everything from public view -- even if it is such a bad look.

And it probably isn't even that; as long as people respond to it and show that Husker fans by and large don't tolerate take kindly to that kind of stuff, it doesn't even reflect poorly on the fanbase as a whole.

Agree. Almost every discussion board has those kind of posts.
