WHat do we do when a new head coach is OFFICIALLY announced ...probably Wednesday or Thursday....Do we completely scrap rumorville, just abruptly end it and then allow 15 threads about our new head coach in Husker football forum?.

I don't think we should even try to merge every thread anyway, just let people go nuts. Maybe a merge or two, but were not going to get everything and I don't even want to try.

 
Until the complete staff is finalized, I think we need to keep it going. And I agree - don't try and clean it up. Too much effort for no real reason.

Once the staff is finalized, I think we should kill that sub-forum unless or until some situation arises that requires it.

 
I agree with AR. If there are strong rumors on a certain day that a head coach will be named, we also need to encourage the use of chat. I will be in it.
