I feel like I'd be much more better at that if I could post a gif of a guy in a Nike shirt taking a bow but I'm still slumming with Adidas I guess...

@Red Five appreciate the concern from a few months ago.  Everything is A-OK with me.  The end of last season really frustrated me and I didn't want to come here and see constant negativity from fans.  I'm not saying the negativity wasn't deserved, I just didn't want to be around it.  So, I took some time away, and those weeks turned into months, and I didn't miss it.  We were busy last spring with my kids playing sports, my son graduating high school, and then the summer flew by with prepping him into moving into college (which he did a few weeks ago).  I would pop in andread threads from time to time, but not often.

With the beginning of the season, and the first game on Saturday, I popped in later the past week, and also checked out the board after the game.  Of course, while NU had a great opener, things were pretty similar around here.

1) @teachercd had his annual "What are you doing for the first game?" thread so he just try to brag about getting free game tickets from a friend and talk how drunk he was going to get before the game.

2) The game thread continues to be a total s#!t show, regardless of what happens during the game.  Unless the offense or defense is completely perfect, the amount of b!^@hing that goes on in the game thread is crazy.,  The game threads are somewhat entertaining to read after the game, just to see the amount of craziness which gets posted during the game.  It's amazing how miserable some people can be during games.  I am glad I don't know those people in real life.

3) The rest of the threads are ok, and it's good to check them out after games to see what people think.  I am probably done posting, but I will check in and read some of the threads during the season, so people will see me lurking on the bottom of the board.  If anyone wants to reach out, they can send me a PM.
